The Parent Group Blueprint Terms of Use

Effective date: Sep 20, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of The Parent Group Blueprint governance toolkit (the "Service"), offered by The Parent Group Blueprint ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account, starting or joining a group, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of a PTA/PTO or other parent organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and "you" refers to both you and that organization.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

The Parent Group Blueprint is a multi-tenant governance toolkit for PTA/PTO and parent organization leaders, consisting of 7 modules: Bylaws Builder, Adoption Meeting Guide, Meeting Procedures Assistant, Code of Conduct & Tracker, Conflict of Interest Disclosure, Parent Leadership Checklist, and Officer Roles Reference. Each parent group has one owner and isolated data. Once a group reaches 5 members, it unlocks one-time lifetime access to the full Service.

We may add, modify, or remove features of the Service at any time.

3. Accounts and Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account and provide accurate, current, and complete information. The person who starts a group becomes its owner and receives a 6-character join code to invite members; invited members register their own accounts using that code or an email invitation. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and join code, and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account or join code. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

4. Payment

Once your group reaches the 5-member minimum, the group owner can unlock lifetime access to the Service for a one-time payment of $149, processed through Stripe. By completing checkout, you authorize us, via Stripe, to charge the payment method provided. This is a one-time purchase, not a subscription, and does not automatically renew.

Refunds, if any, are handled in accordance with our separate Refund Policy.

5. User Content

"User Content" means the bylaws responses and generated bylaws document, meeting scripts, votes and minutes, Code of Conduct acknowledgments, Conflict of Interest disclosures, checklist progress, logos, and other information you or your group's members input into the Service. As between you and us, you (or, for an individual officer's disclosure or acknowledgment, that officer) retain ownership of your User Content.

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, and display your User Content solely as necessary to provide, maintain, and improve the Service. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the User Content you enter, including your own Code of Conduct acknowledgment and Conflict of Interest disclosure.

6. Group Ownership and Governance Records

Each group has one owner, who is responsible for managing membership, group branding, and payment for lifetime access. The Service uses row-level security so that one group's data is kept separate from, and not visible to, other groups.

Conflict of Interest Disclosures and Code of Conduct acknowledgments are entered by the individual officer they concern. Each officer is responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of their own disclosures and acknowledgments; we do not independently verify their content, and the group owner and other officers with access are responsible for how they use this information within their organization's governance process.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, bylaws article templates, meeting scripts, Code of Conduct text, tools, graphics, and The Parent Group Blueprint name and branding, is owned by The Parent Group Blueprint and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for your group's internal, non-commercial governance purposes.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, sublicense, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service, or use our templates or tools to build a competing product.

8. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation

  • Enter fraudulent, misleading, or falsified bylaws, meeting, disclosure, or acknowledgment information

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another group's data or to any part of the Service's systems

  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service

  • Upload viruses, malware, or other harmful code

  • Use the Service, or the governance data it contains, to harass, defame, or harm any person or organization

  • Resell, rent, or provide third-party access to the Service without our written consent

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

The Bylaws Builder, Adoption Meeting Guide, Meeting Procedures Assistant, and other modules provide templates and structured guidance, not legal advice. They do not constitute, and are not a substitute for, review by a qualified attorney. You are solely responsible for reviewing and adapting any generated bylaws, agendas, minutes, or other documents to your organization's specific circumstances, your governing documents, your school or district's requirements, and applicable law before adopting or relying on them.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Parent Group Blueprint and its officers, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Service — including any dispute over bylaws adoption, meeting compliance, or the content of any disclosure or acknowledgment — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will not exceed the amount your group paid us for the Service.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

11. Term and Termination

These Terms remain in effect for as long as you use the Service. You may stop using the Service or close your group's account at any time by contacting us.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms, or for any other reason with reasonable notice where practicable. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately; we will handle any retained data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and its Data Retention section.

12. General Provisions

Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of [insert your state, e.g., New Jersey], without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements.

No waiver. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of that right or provision.

Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent; we may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this document and, where appropriate, provide additional notice (such as email or an in-app notice). Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
